Cool Subwoofer Enclosure between bucket seats?

I was wondering if there were anyone on here that has done a sub-woofer between bucket seats, made a sub box into a center console? Looking at a 10-12" DD sub, 1500-2000 watts real world watts.

Wouldn't take much to remove the center fold down seat & build a box to fit into its place.

Re: Subwoofer Enclosure between bucket seats?

Did that in my 72. No pics as it was stolen. Had some Bose bookshelfs under the seats and the passive sub in between the seats. Thing slammed. Kinda redneck but it was what I had layin around. Had to drive from San Francisco to Tampa so I needed something. The cows in Texas are still crying from my Karaoke.HAHA! I put the amp inside the subwoofer box where the pressure hole was so every time it hit it cooled the amp.

Re: Subwoofer Enclosure between bucket seats?

gauges may not like to be mounted on/in a sub box...
