wheel back spacing info

now that im changing over the the 5on4 3/4 bolt pattern do to the wheels im getting from weld racing i need some help with back spacing. the truck is doing to be dropped 4/6 big sway bars front and rear with QA1 shocks on all for corners. but im un sure on the back spacing ive done some searching and see most are using 5.5 in the rear and around the same on the front. i have the lip trimmed off the front fenders and welded back up.

i will be running 18's on all 4 corners 8.5 in front and 10's out back..

Where in Texas you located?

I did some looking around most guys typically use a 15x8 and 15x10, so I don't see why an 18 would be any different, what i've read is that most are running 4-4.5" in front and 5" in the back.

Re: wheel back spacing info

I would run a 5.25" BS on a 18x8.5 up front and a 5.5" BS on a 18x10 since you have a 73-87 rearend.

15" wheels will only allow a max of 4" BS up front because of their small diameter.

Re: wheel back spacing info

how close will the 5.5 BS out back put the wheel to the fender? i dont want the goofy look these trucks have when there dropped with the rears tucked in more then the front.
