Cool Police Drag Car
I saw this really cool drag car in Pleasanton at the Goodguys shows. You cant read the star on the door, but it is from SFPD for San Francisco Police. I think the owner said it would the 1/4 mile in 9 sec at 180+.

Awsome! Anglias are cool, but very light and narrow. I know a guy that got blown over by a gust of wind in one on the interstate.

The City of Kent WA built a 93 Caprice Drag Car....it was fully tubbed and used a BB396. I saw it once but haven't seen it again......

I've always had this fantasy of a high speed chase with the cops through the city. I wouldn't ever do it of course. But if I did....I think I would lose against that..Nice car and thanks for posting.

Back in the 70s the Salt Lake City PD had a 76 Nova (they used them for patrol cars) with a LS6 454. On Wednesday nights they had Beat the Cop night at the Bonneville drag strip. I don't think they lost very often.
