For all you leaf spring guys

I raised my front spring mounts up 2 inches to give me an extra 1" drop. Pretty easy to do and works great. Got the idea from another member but just made it to look alittle more factory.

Haven't got that far yet. I do have a spacer on my trans mount. Will see if that makes a difference.

I agree, it is a good idea. I wouldn't think that a 1" difference in ride height won't cause a significant change in the pinion angle....

Re: For all you leaf spring guys

the drop was 1 inch but the front of the leafsprings were angled up 2 inches, seems that would be a good bit of degree change but it may not be too much. with the trans spacer, it will probably be dead on though....

Re: For all you leaf spring guys

I purchased the truck with a flip kit installed and the trans spacer. I now have drop leafs, drop shackles and now the front mount raised. Before it drove fine so I'm hoping it will be the same.
