New from New Mexico
First off, thanks for everybody that posts on here, this really is the best place I've found for obtaining info on these trucks. My first car was an 80 swb, which I still have almost ten years later. Last summer I found a really solid, nearly bone-stock 85 on Craigslist for a whopping $800. Me and dad have done a lot of work to the 80 over the years, 3/4 drop, front & rear sway bars, interior, new 350 and the list goes on. I've used the 85 to do different things than I did on the 80. The 85 has recieved a new (pretty much restored) interior, 4/6 drop and other little updates, mostly just restoration type stuff. We are currently in the process of building a new 350 to replace the gutless smallblock that it has now, and I found a good TH350 to replace the leaky 700R4 thats in it. Anyways heres some pics. (excuse the paint on the 80 lol, I never really cared for it but new paint isn't cheap)
