Fuel problem with a ls swap please help
Im having a issue with keeping fuel at the rail, im using a fuel cell thats vented, aeromotive regulator, walbro pump, the pump turn on everytime I turn the key but I have floor the gas pedal for it to start up other wise the engine wont fire up is has a ls1 intake with the built in regulator on it, is it possible that the regulator on the on the intake has gone bad and doesnt hold fuel pressure?

You have a 97-98 Corvette fuel rail with both feed and return lines? That's the only LS1 fuel rail that has a built in regulator. Camaros with returnless rails dont have a regulator, just a pulsator. Have you verified that it isn't holding pressure with a gauge? Usually having to floor the pedal to get it to start means you're getting too much fuel and flooring it puts it in clear flood mode.

I have the Ls1 intake that came from a camaro, which only has a feed my return is at the regulator

Is t possible that its doing ths because the o2 sensors are not installed yet in the exhaust , the fuel regulator is brand new and set at 60psi

I know your saying the regulator is new BUT ......I had both o2 sensors that had a problem right out of the box! I bought Denso brand o2 sensors and my CEL hasnt come on since. Just because it's new doesnt mean its good. |
