Yes there is more than one manufacturer of A.D parts

After waiting for 2 months for my repop running boards to arrive and many phone calls later,received the right first. My supplier was having a hard time getting the left from there main supplier so they went to another one of there suppliers for the left. When i finely got the left i brought it home, and when i layed it down beside the right they were quite different,so i thought i would post this so everybody here could see the difference and know what you are getting.this running board is from counterpart and keyparts.

I have looked at 3 more sets of running boards since ,from counterpart,keyparts and dynacorn and all are made from plants in taiwan, but definitely different plants,the ribbing stamp on the dynacorn looks more like the original but is not as pronounced and the braces are tacked by hand.The keyparts/counterparts have factory spot welding but the ribbing stamp is different from original but is deeper/more pronounced like the original.As far as guage of metal they are both the same my original running boards.I hope this helps anyone that is looking at repop running boards and will save them the time and headaches that i went threw,in the end i went with keyparts just because in my opinion the were better made and will take less prep work before paint.
