New mirrors!

got some new mirrors for the truck today. Anybody know what the dimensions are to mount these things on the door to look right.

Factory doors have three holes just below and forward of where your top bracket is on your current mirrors. PO may have welded them or may have just bondo over them. Pull your inner door panel and look in there to see.

The new mirrors should have a reinforcing bracket to go on the inside of the door. Machine screw goes through mirror bracket holes then through door holes and then screws into inside bracket. Makes a sandwich with your door skin as the bologna. LOL

2 inches from the front of the door to the front edge of the mirror mounting bracket, so prob 2.75" to the first bolt hole? Then i just lined up the top edge of the bracket about 1/8" below the body line so it looked right.

Oh ok yea they look perfect there. My truck had westcoast jrs on it from the factory so I'm not sure if there'll be holes there already ill check though. I appreciate everybody's help.
