Re: Factory markings
Ok so i took a Very hard look and the fire wall where i scrubbed the number off and i can make out some of it but not all of it.
In the center of the fire wall its 541 _ _ _ then on the drivers side left its CE10934 B So the _ are the items i can't figure out, but i will just end up putting these number back up if nothing else. |

KC 1st: pics of my '68. It's a St. Louis truck.
Duncan: Can you help decipher the non-model markings? Thanks.

Re: Factory markings
My build sequence number "635" and a "B" for the Baltimore Plant where it was built is written in grease pencil on the driver's side firewall of my 70 C-10. The "635" was also found inside the passenger fender along with the letters " A I R " to make sure everyone on the assembly line knew this truck was to be built with Air Conditioning.

Re: Factory markings
This is what I found when I removed my passenger side fender today, it seems to match the firewall.

Re: Factory markings
"768" on the firewall above the AC case and "768" stamped in the cowl on the driver side above the electrical connectors.
768 is the build sequence correct? Why is it stamped on the firewall is that inherent to the build plant? |
