Hood Mounted Tachometer?

Has anyone tried adapting a Pontiac or Buick Hood Tach to a 62-66 style hood? One of the things I wanted to do to my first car, a 67 Pontiac LeMans, was install a factory Hood-Tach, but unfortunatley never got the chance. I'm wondering if anyone has done this before to these trucks, and what it would look like. Thanks!

Not a bad idea, but that tach if you find one will cost you your first born....

If it costs first born to get one.....I'll take two........Just kidding. That would be a cool option, and not one I think I've seen before. One thing I can imagine running into is position of you in the truck seated, and the angle of the tach and how it is positioned. Also, depending on eye sight, I've been told, it is somewhat difficult to see. Maybe other cars like Camaro, GTO, Challenger, Charger, etc might be cheaper, or more available in some aftermarket versions.
