Is this a bad airbag?

So I recently completed the install of my Porterbuilt front and rear kits with SS7 bags. I have only driven the truck around the block because I haven't gotten an alignment yet. Park the truck in the garage and my pass rear bag leaks down to empty over night.

checked all my seals and didn't find any issues. Took the bag out and sprayed with soapy water and see bubbles coming out of the area where the bolt goes. Not sure how to explain that area but you can see it in the pic.

Is this just a bad bag? Ive been trying to get ahold of Porterbuilt to see if replacing it is an option but haven't heard back from them. Any of you guys with more experience in airbags have advice?

Re: Is this a bad airbag?

Those are an excellent brand of bags.
How much torque did you apply to those bolts?

6. Each airspring is shipped with an adhesive label outlining proper installation methods. Slam Specialties will not warranty any airspring in which the installer did not comply with the installation instructions.

Re: Is this a bad airbag?

If I remember right is was torqued around 25. All bags were done the same and just this one with a leak.

Re: Is this a bad airbag?

Guess I'm gonna have to shell out another $100+ on this drop system since my emails and voicemails have gone unanswered by Porter built for 2 weeks and lack of responses here. Thanks.

Re: Is this a bad airbag?

I would send them another text.
I'm sure they just drop ship from Slam Specialties.
Did you try contacting Slam Specialties directly?

Do me a favor and send me a pm with your number and we will give you a buzz. Slam has always been good about standing behind their product.

Ben-

Dug your email out of the SPAM folder! We have your number and will give you a return call today.

I show the one email and the one phone call on the same day, Friday the 8th. Do me a favor in the future, and if by chance you don't hear back within a day or so.... try us again. We don't intentionally ignore anybody, and do our best to stay on top of all the emails and phone calls. I apologize that you were missed. We will be happy to help you resolve this concern with your bag.
