72 cab with TX title

72 super cheyenne cab. This is a heater cab with after-market AC installed by "Tornado" manufacturing in Ft Worth TX. I am leaving the heater unit, AC unit, brake pedal and booster in the cab, unknown conditions. Tank is in cab also. VIN plate intact. It has the normal outer rocker issues, worse on passenger side. It has about a 4 inch rusty spot on the upper windshield channel on the passenger side and the worse part is that my sling slipped and dented the roof on both sides above the doors. This is a nice repairable cab off of a truck that I parted out. Picked up only, $250.

Re: 72 cab with TX title

Kind of a strange request and I will understand if you don't want to fool with it.

First of all, it has to have the factory rocker panels for this to work for me.

I need the area of the cab at least 3 inches above where the rocker is spot welded and at least 3 inches of the rocker below the spot weld or split, both front and rear on left and right sides.

What I am trying to accomplish is to put aftermarket rockers on my truck and make them look factory. My truck has had the rockers replaced and who ever did it just welded the seam solid.

I want it to look like factory and these pieces will give me the section with the factory spot welds and I can graft new rockers to those pieces. It sounds much more complicated than it is.

If you are interested, maybe I can have some one help me draw a line(s) on a photo to show you where to cut.

Thank's
Tom
