Home Made Cup Holder Pics For Lemield

Nothing very fancy about it but it works. As mentioned used two large electrical condut supports, a spare ashtray and a little blue and gray paint. Works better with the 32 oz. styrofoam cups than it does with the thin wall plastic cups since the styrofoam cups have a larger diameter.

40+ years and no company has come up with decent cup holders for our trucks. This is what I made for mine. I illuminated the bottoms so I can find them in the dark.

Re: Home Made Cup Holder Pics For Lemield

For the 12 oz. cold ones I drop the center seat console in the truck. Aftermarket 40/20/40 seat with two wood cup holders. Doesn't work well with the taller 32 oz. foam cups I use since my truck does not have any A/C.

Its looks cool. I went the other way by trying to custom build a console to house two cups. Fabbed it all up, upholstered, bought the two stainless marine cups and tightly slid it into place.

Re: Home Made Cup Holder Pics For Lemield

I used to keep a roll of duct tape on the hump between the seats to use as a cup holder. It worked well and the redneck factor was great. The only problem was my beer would always foam up when I'd hit speed bumps.

wait, forget that last part.

I have one that you replace the ash tray with some hardware so it will go in when not in use and it just looks like the stock ash tray front. I think I bought it from Brothers

I have the same one in two of my trucks. It was made by Old Air products and is very nice. It does not hold tall drinks well but it makes up for it's shortcomings by stowing away nicely. Unfortunately, they do not make it anymore. Been trying to find one that somebody has but didn't install....so far no luck....
