high hump ?
Are these mainly used for slamming the trucks? Or are there other reason's. Can you run any transmission manual or automatic with the low hump's

Mine had the short hump from the factory. It was converted to HIGH hump when we installed a manual transmission due to clearance issues.
I left it that way when the 700r4 went in and have hopes of the 6L80 in the near future.

Oh yeah. They are also used to make it tougher to order the right carpet kit. As I understand it a "low hump" is about 3" and the "high hump" is about 6".

So far as I am aware, it went something like this:
All 4wd - high hump (As stated) Manual trans floor shift - high hump Big Block 2wd - high hump I've never owned a truck that wasn't high humped
