Wood bed strip, Question.
I got a wood bed kit from Mar-K. My question is on the wood bed strips, I'm going to paint them and I need to know if they are galvanized. If so how do I go about painting them ?

Re: Wood bed strip, Question.
IIRC they are not galvanized. Give Mar-K a call if you don't find it on their site.

Re: Wood bed strip, Question.
This is from Mar-K's web site
"Steel bed strips are to be painted for that original bed look. Bed strips are punched with square holes according to the original pattern. Each strip is 1 1/2" wide and 18 gage thickness. This truck requires 7 bed strips. Made in Oklahoma City, USA. " They also have painting instructions in there FAQ section. |

Re: Wood bed strip, Question.
Mar-K also sells stainless strips. Depends on what you ordered. If not stainless, paint them as stated above.
