Re: Side mirrors

Re: Side mirrors
Here is a reproduction stainless mirror. The base had to be reshaped to fit the door skin. The repop mirror heads have the mounting stud in the center, where the original mirror heads had an offset stud.
This post details what is needed to rework the aftermarket mirror arms if you're picky about details. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...5&postcount=52 Original mirror/arm with offset stud.

Re: Side mirrors
I went a different way and recently removed the factory style mirrors and installed 58 Impala mirrors to go blend in better with the chrome windshield frame and spotlights:

Re: Side mirrors
Good pics everyone.
While we're on the subject, has anyone figured out a way to make their passenger side mirror more functional? I have the factory reproduction arms and heads, and I can't see a darn thing out of mine on the passenger side. |
