new and hers what im working on 67

i received a 67 Chevy c10 longbed from my grampa
its not the best body but not the worst, needs rocker panels and battery trey only rust through ive ordered most everything for it except lowering kit and 5 lug power disc conversion, its getting a 327, right now its a 305
going to put the camaro gas tank under bed and have it come out the license plate frame any pointers on how to do that, i got the gas tank off ebay for the tank and straps it was $85 with shipping and i ordered the sending unit and have the cap through work(work at oreilly auto parts, and its cheaper for me to go outside there for most the stuff)pics up when its daylight

Re: new and hers what im working on 67

There is a post in the forums on how to install the camaro tank under the bed. Just search for it. It's pretty useful. Lots of great pictures. You end up using an early 90's license plate flipper that breaks over when you open it. This helps you not have to hold it open while you fillup.

67 was available with the large window. Usually part of the trim package that was on that truck. Look at N2BILLET's Hazel, it is also a 67 with the large back glass...

BTW - Tank install looks good. Looks like a good start on the truck!
