Re: Lift Kit ideas/options/suggestions

I have had 3 rough country lifts and I will say that they are a rough ride!!! my current 85 has a tuff county EZ ride on it and it rides like my duramax. I would save your money and get the tuff county!!!!! I live less than an hour from rough country, they have great products but the ride suck on the old chevy lifts!!

the silver has 4" EZ tuff county & 35 MTZ
The back one has 4" Rough country with 36x14.5 mickey's (fenders cut) it also has longer shackles on front
The gray one has stock with a rough country add a leaf w/ 32x11.50

Re: Lift Kit ideas/options/suggestions

How Will the hauling capacity be affected by the RC or TC suspension lifts. The TC is listed as a sub 3/4 ton. I want to lift my 87 GMC V2500 4x4 but don't want to be able to haul less wood, mulch etc. as I do now.

Re: Lift Kit ideas/options/suggestions

If u have blocks in the rear you'll keep the same springs so it shouldn't make a difference i'd think... But worst comes to worse you could call them and see what they're rated at.

On mine? If so yes, that is correct. ProComp 2.5 front leafs, 2.5 rear blocks, and 15x8 wheels. 33 12.50 tires. Later I put 15x10 rims on it and I still never rubbed.

You won't be disapointed. I think 33 12.50's look better than 35's. Wider looking. They look really good on a 15x10 chrome steel rim.
