New member looking to purchase a 4" lift what spring length?
Ok,
I have an 86 4x4 that I am wanting to order a 4" lift for after reading I decided to go with tuff country 4" however on websites I'm looking at them at I see they ask if you want 52" or 56" springs. I measure from end to end on my rear springs looks to be more like 52" springs stock is that what these trucks came with or do some have 56" springs? just want to get all my questions answered so I don't mess up and order the wrong kit. thanks |

I have a 3/4 ton and it has 56 inch springs. If you have a 1/2 ton i think they are 52. just measure bolt center to bolt center.

I only had a small measure i went from the center of the spring to the end it was approx 26 so I'll order the 52" ones.

I just ordered the ez ride 4" kit from them. I will be putting 35's on it thinking about it the HD's might have been a better option to keep the 35s from rubbing offroad as much but I'll see how the ez rides do.
