Truck marketing...101

If you want to sell your truck, don't bother with time consuming cosmetic touches such as shampooing the carpets, waxing the paint and Armorall® on the tires. Just do this:

Question: Know how to sell your truck for $50,000?
Answer: Spend $100,000 building it.

Re: Truck marketing...101

That doesn't work either. The truck has been on Ebay recently with the same sales pitch. Blonde, tight dress, long legs ,loves to go for walks on the beach and will hand you tools to work on your truck. Maney. They should get a few more photos of her with the truck or offer to have her deliver it?

Re: Truck marketing...101

Since I've been married for 23 years I don't think I could afford the truck and her! I would have to find a camper to pull behind it, so I had a place to live

And actually, if you get past the obvious and look at the truck, they've done a damn good job of detailing it. The blonde is just eye candy.

Re: Truck marketing...101

I think they both look great (truck and girl). Not to be too critical, but did anyone else notice that the tailgate has the original style latches with a bolt through them. Looks a little out of place to me on a $50K restoration.

Missed that. Guess I was looking at the other tailgate.

Re: Truck marketing...101

The hottie gets your attention when you are scrolling down the page of trucks but the add is really well done and shows the details of the truck you want to see.

From what appear to be a brand new set of wheels I think the truck might have been built several years ago and the seller put them on it to "update" it. That it's been listed for quite a while or several times probably means that their reserve is quite a bit higher than the market value of the truck.

77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
