how come the drop crowd...

.. never converts their stuff to 3/4 ton? I know you guys are all about customization and a short bed C10 with 8 lug wheels and a 5/7 drop would look sweet, IMO.

answers? i demand answers.

you know 5 years ago i would have said because you can't buy decent rims for 8 lug but now days you can. As long as youre going 8 lug how bout one of those cool 21"? tire conversions.DAVE

My 3/4 ton longbed is going down 4/6 or so, and I'm not swapping out my full floating rears, lol its gonna look a bit weird having these ugly floaters sticking out from behind the nice rims, unless I find a nice set of rims with some sort of cap that will fit over the floater...

Mike, i think alot of it has to do with most of us are either in search of some type of performance as well as the lowered look. while the 3/4 ton stuff can be very strong, its also very heavy. when you're trying to build a performance truck less weight is better.

Another thing is that 3/4 ton stuff is for hauling and pulling heavy loads and the lowered crowd at least most of us wont be doing that kind of thing.
