Hey, I'm new here...just figured i'd intoduce myself and my rig. I have a 1984 k20 suburban with a 350 sbc and a th400 auto. Gm 10 bolt front and 14 bolt rear geared in the rear at 3.73. Later down the road I'm considering a 292 & sm465 or similar 4spd.

Post a pic, we love them. Straight-six and four-speed sounds like a fun plan.

Its the one in my avatar, one of these days I'll post some more pics. I do know where I can get a 4spd, but the straight 6 is quite the task. I don't wanna gut the old 62 for the 235...I know someone who has a 70 k20 pickup withe a bored .030 over 250, cammed and a 292 head. I might buy the whole truck and transer drivetrain to the burb. (The truck is very rotted and far from #'s matching....not to worred about gutting it)
