Different control arms?

Hey I'm about to swap my 72 upper and lower control arms on to my 68 frame so I can have 5lugs not 6. I want to know if there are differences going from a 72 to 68? My 72 was a v8, the 68 was inline6.

Re: Different control arms?

The ball joints are different, as are the spindles. It will bolt up and work fine, you just have to remember when buying parts.

Don't forget that the drag link and tie rods are all different sizes too....unless you are using a rack.
