Re: 67 Atomic Fuel

This was what i originally was going with till I rode i a truck with Vintage Air and I was sold on the system over the stock system. Again while i was purchasing the A/C system i found a better radiator system and electric fan set up than what i bought from Summit! And was a direct fit!

I have also ordered a one piece window kit from One Piece glass and had an aluminum driveshaft made for the truck. On the 15th of the month i will be ordering my wheels from Bonspeed wheels.

Re: 67 Atomic Fuel

I am currently deployed to the STAN and i will be on R&R the first two weeks of july and i will post more pictures of the build. The truck has had all body lines straightened and lined up better than new! and torn back all the way and painted to perfection by a guy who does these trucks for a living!

Re: 67 Atomic Fuel

Thank you for your service Texaninhell. I spent some time in the PG area in the late 80's. Wasn't alot of fun back then either. Keep safe and get back to enjoy a cool truck!! I am putting an oem CPP four wheel disc kit on my 71 right now. It is a great kit. I got the best price by far from Hartrods.

Re: 67 Atomic Fuel

Thanks Tinkermc! Im trying too build this truck but its hard being deployed! I talked to the guy who is painting the truck my window kit is in from One Piece Glass along with my new griffin radiator and fans from vintage air so that is some good news. The guy building my truck works on my truck on slower days because of me being gone till November! Works out great for the wife she gets to park in the garage till it comes home.

Re: 67 Atomic Fuel

Thanks! If you hear of any wheels please throw me a line. Its hard to find wheels that aren't custom built or only torque thrust style! im about to give up and order a set of them though! i would prefer 20's but will look at 18's!!

Re: 67 Atomic Fuel

It's coming along nice!

Did you get the Atomic or Fast EFI?
I have been thinking about getting one for my 4x4.

Post up some new pics when you get a chance.

PS...I like the Bonspeeds you were looking at.

Re: 67 Atomic Fuel

Nice setup! I know what its like to build a truck on deployment... Ive been doing the same with my truck for the last 3 1/2 years now. Hell, Im on deployment right now too! At least you have a guy back home making progress on it. Im doing all mine myself, and trying to balance that with family time is almost impossible!

Re: 67 Atomic Fuel

No I have not bought an EFI system. It's more cost effective to put in an LSX motor and trans. So I'm gonna ride till I have a problem then change over.
