fresh air vent knobs
Anyone know how to remove the vent knobs off the cable. I am going to paint the brackets and want to order the chrome knobs. I have tried to pull a little...trying not to break cable, and I have tried holding sleeve and unscrewing.

Never mind I got it...they are suppose to pull off. They were so dry and hard there was no way they were coming off. I cut them off...
