Re: Another Drum To Disc Conversion question
A lot of good reading here that should clear up everything.

Re: Another Drum To Disc Conversion question
Easier to use 63-70 conversion drop spindles.
Same price as 71-72 and 73-87 drop spindles. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Another Drum To Disc Conversion question
You would use the 73-87 tie rod too but would have to get a conversion sleeve that will connect that to the 68 inner tie rod

The conversion tie rod sleeves don't connect to the '68 inner tie rod. Because the 63-70 inner tie rods have the wrong thread pitch. (RH thread) Your new 73-87 outer tie rod is ALSO right hand thread. So you have to intall a '68 outer tie rod in the INNER location,,... to use these sleeves. The other option is to use ALL of the 73-87 steering linkage. Like I said,... the easiest option is to buy 63-70 conversion spindles. No balljoint change or tie rod change. $229 every day.

My cpp modular spindles came with 73-87 upper and lower ball joints and also new inner and outer tie rod ends and sleeve adjusters
