Do any of the dealers (LMC, Bowtiebits, etc.) make their own parts

Hello all, does anyone know if any of the dealers manufacture their own parts? I'm looking for one of the bars that is welded to the battery tray that you bolt the top down to - see picture. If anyone has one with good threads I'd like to buy it.

THX

Pat

Rod stock, die, anvil, big hammer and drill press and you could fab one in a few minutes. I make a lot of my stuff channeling my great-great grandfather who was a blacksmith in Casper in the late 1800's.

I'm like Orrie, I think I would just make my own. a bolt the right length with a tab made out of a piece of 1/2 x 1/8 flat bar welded on at the bottom would work fine or by flattening out the bottom end of a bolt like he suggested.

77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

Re: Do any of the dealers (LMC, Bowtiebits, etc.) make their own parts

The threads are new. It's just that the hold down frame that goes around the top of the battery doesn't clear my battery posts so these bolts and the hold down are going away. I may have time to pull them today. Details later
