I installed a dodge regulator....I guess maybe it just sucks.

Oh, I had read on 4btswap.com that others had their dodge alternators modified to be internally regulated and have a tach lead installed. I called all of the alternator repair shops around here and none of them said they could do it, and acted like I was stupid for asking.
