New to me Blazer and other pics
Bought the M1009 Blazer for my son,not before I stole the rims for my 72 blazer. He couldnt keep it on the road(2 rear ends, rear springs, starter, glowplugs, etc)so I got him something he couldnt beat to much and took it.Runs like a champ 70 xxx miles, threw some trail grappler tires on and now have something to drive when it rains.Threw in a few pics of my other junk too.

Nice. Is the 72 blazer running the white wheels or the black w/beauty rings now?

Re: New to me Blazer and other pics
When I first started looking into getting stock rims for the 72 I didnt realize how hard it was going to be.After alot of looking on computer,ad in paper, checking out Stockon Wheel widening,I seen on here military blazers would take our hubcaps. One day out seen one at the gas station but the guy woudnt separate with the rims.6 months later we are looking for a 1st rig for my boy and find that same one for sale 2 towns over.
$3200 M1009 $1100 BFG All Terrains $360 Get rims powercoated Definity not the cheapest solution but I got the look Im after and eventually got the blazer too.(made the wife reeaally happy)Can u say Im a pretty good sweettalker when needed lol.Im runnung the stock rims now, drivers side has the hubcaps ,passenger not because I havent found any good ones.Looks good that way too. |

Re: New to me Blazer and other pics
I was on the same search for wheels. I put a wtb ad on craigslist and got lucky and found a guy with a set of 5 he was willing to part with. I wanted the stock look, but wanted the wider wheel, cucv wheels are the perfect for these and semi-easier to find than original wheels.
