Not paypal, I am afraid. Western Union. I appriciate anything anyone can do to help me bring this to a conclusion. I will drive up there and contact the police if need be. I realy feel stupid for falling into this scam if it turns out to be one. WES

The western union and the fact that he has answered everyone's call but yours makes it seem fishy. I would definitely be driving around Everett looking for my blazer. It sounds like you can find him somewhere around the business location he gave the address for. I would go to that location and then call the number and see if someone reaches for a phone.

Wes, may b steering you inbthe wrong direction bit is Lynwood near Everett. I found a Scott Guthrie was arrested by Lynwood pd and that Scott A Guthrie (1972) os an alias for Kenneth Brian Payton. Go to vinelink and click on Washington state and type in the names of who you are looking for. In some states you can search offenders with court dates amd even view their next court dates and charges. Ill look for a mugshot next. Again, this may not be the same guy but if it is, this info may help the police.

Quick search, no mugshot but Kenneth B Payton was arrested 4/15/13 by Washington State Patrol and taken to Snohomish Co. He is out of custody though. Hope this isnt your guy

I snapped some pix for you but I can't load them to this post with my damn droid. His neighbors had a couple GMC C20's.

Not that you'd do what I did when I was young and had rougher edges, WES. But one time long ago, on what *I* thought
was a big deal, I decided on the do-it-yourself approach.

It was *almost* a life-changing event. I was lucky. Now, I keep that stuff bottled up as a defensive move only. Argggg!

I am waiting for a call back from the Everett police. We will see what happens next. I had another freind call him. His cell phone has the same area code 425. He answered within 2 rings, my buddy asked him about the Blazer in Craigslist and his responce was it is sold. So I called immediately after only to get his voicemail again. Funny thing is he called my buddy back and asked him if his phone call was some sort of a joke. That could be because I left a message that I knew he was answering his phone to other people and ignoring my calls. We will now see what the police have to say once they call me back. WES

Well I just got the return call from the Everett Police and the news isn't good. They tell me that because I paid him earnest money I entered into a cival contract with him. My only choice is now to drive up there, knock on his door, and either get my money or try to collect the Blazer. If he refuses any of the above, then I will have to go to the courthouse and file a small claims case in smal claims court. I asked about the fraud and he said that all he has to do is deni everything. Even if I have evidence to the contrairy. I say lets have fun blowing up his phone!! WES 425-210-3602
