Re: What did you do to your truck today!

100% won't be the starter causing charging system problems, it would have to run with the engine and you would know that.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

thanks to you, will verify the charge when engine is running ; battery is charged this morning, so I hope i can start my engine.
battery gauge (factory) doesn't work correctly ==> always good...

what is to say "Sounds like the alternator/regulator are not adjusted correctly" ?

The regulator and alternator need to work in sync with one another. The regulator can be adjusted to vary the amount of charge being produced. It's been a long time since I had to deal with one, so I would need a manual to see what the adjustments are.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

OK, I bought a regulator item 36-2520 at LMC store. it is not precised for which Ah it is. I thought it was a standard one, because it fits with electrical plugs.
i've any information regarding alternator. Perhaps it's a high Ah powered and the standard regulator does'nt work with.
So do I change the alternator to a standard like item 36-2760-Z (LMC store) ?

First I have to see if charge works or not.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Then, started my truck. ... 13V, no change when I accelerate !
solutions :
1- condensator ? (not changed)
2- alternator ?
3- regulator ? ==> new one ==> before I changed it, when accelerate alternator gave 18V !!!
