Gutterman,

I payed $125 for a 4 bolt short block and considered myself pretty well off. Does that help?

By "truck motor" I don't suppose you mean the 350 "tall deck" motors that were in BIG commercial trucks do you? Those are a different ball game.

$100-$200 is a fair price for a 4-bolt 350 longblock that needs a rebuild

I buy late model roller 4-bolt blocks for $100 all day long here. A regular 4 bolt block is about $75.

Usually have to give between $150 - $250 for a complete , starter and all 350 4 bolt, here . Time we get it rebuilt we have a $1000.00 in it , thats heads and all. Then comes the carb .... money money money .... never ends ...lol jyd

I THOUGHT they did. Am I getting my big blocks mixed up with small blocks again? Damn this tiny brain!

Mumble grumble, you guys make me feel like I got ripped off. I paid $500 CAN for a complete carb to pan 350 4bolt I bought a few weeks ago. (with camel hump heads, all from a 69 Impala SS)

Somebody might be able to make some real money if you want to bring some of those $100 4bolt cores up here, I was told that 4 bolt 350 cores are going for around $500CAN(about $400US). Although I really doubt that price now.
