Almost bought a '72

Hey everyone I'm a long time lurker but don't post to often. I had a deal worked out to buy a 1972 C10. The truck was very solid with no rust. Which is pretty rare here in Michigan. The owner had brought it back from California with him when he moved here 10 years ago. Anyway the deal fell apart for the truck. I think he is still to emotionally attached to the truck. I hold no hard feelings toward the seller he seems like a real good guy. Anyway I guess I'm just looking for a shoulder to cry on My wife as beautiful and smart as she is she just don't understand why I'm in pain right now. So the search continues for a solid truck for my next project.

Matt

I feel your pain.

Be patient and you will find the truck your were meant to have, Who knows...maybe the guy with the 72 may call you back.

Good Luck

Bummer about the deal falling through. But as others have said, there may be a chance that he has a change of heart or maybe one thats even better than that one may pop up.

Had to laugh about the comment about your wife. Just have to liken it something she can relate to, like a rare, mint condition, vintage Gucci handbag that she almost could've had. My wife seems to get it when I put in context.
