New truck, 1951 GMC
Hello everyone. I am new to the forum and new to older trucks. I just picked up a 1951 GMC. I don't know much about it. I have been reading a lot on this site it has already been a great help. Im not sure exactly what I have yet, lol, but I am really excited to learn more. I do know that it has 9' bed and 173" wheelbase. Any info would be great. Mostly wondering if I have a 1 ton or not. Thanks, and nice to meet all of you.

Yep, that's a standard issue 1 ton. 9' bed and 5.13 gears in the rear axle.
