High School Hot Rod, 1968 C10
Hey guys. I just joined a few days ago but my students and I have been at work for some time. This is what the plans look like;
C4 Corvette front end Corvette Grand Sport wheels (5 spoke black) Porterbuilt rear suspension crossmember homegrown rear trailing arms coilover shocks at all four corners rear fuel tank wilwood rear brakes OBP 3 pedal assembly with firewall knockout for footsie room 2004 GM 5.3Liter from Avalanche HP Tuner Pro Tremec T56 trans I am picking up the LS 5.3 liter this week and have a t56 transmission. Dont worry, we aren't doing the body this year so I will have work for years to come. Just trying to get the chassis and drivetrain done.

Swap the input shaft and bellhousing and your t56 will work on the ls. Visit 3rdgen forum theyve got info on it there.

I wanted to edit my initial post... but can't.
It is a ZF6, not a t56. I found out from the corvette guys that I need a bell housing and a throwout bearing, that is all. I am working on that now. |

Well, the frame just came back from chemical dip. Boy is that clean. Before we set up the suspension, can anyone give me a shot of a modified wheel base... i.e. wheel centerline moved forward or aft. To me it looks like the front centerline could be moved forward some. Any thoughts? We are running 18" wheels, 255-55 tires
