tire size?
I'm thinking of getting some 255/60R15 tires for my 77 silverado.Truck has no suspension mods, specs say this tire is approximately 2" shorter than the factory 235s and about an inch wider.Anyone else running this size tire on factory rims(15x7 I think)? Will these tires look too small in those big wheelwells?

Re: tire size?
IMO it's way too small a tire on stock suspension. I had an 87 2wd with 31s and looked pretty good.

Re: tire size?
275/60/15 on all four corners would look good IMHO.

Re: tire size?
255/60 is going to look too small. You want 275/60, or even 255/70 look good on rally wheels. 255/70 is real close to the stock tire diameter, but is wider. 275/60 is a little bit shorter than stock but quite a bit wider.

I also vote for the 275 60 15. That is what is on my truck right know and look good to me. Also 265/70/15 is nice... Check out this site ....Its a miata site, but use this tool all the time... I hate to re calibrate speedo's...Tire Calculator
