Question 1971 Chevy truck steering automatic column maintenance?

Howdy.

I have a '65 c10, which has a 1971 Chevrolet truck, non-tilt steering column, for an automatic, in it.

It was in there when I bought it.

I am curious about any maintenance that it may require from time to time? Lube, adjustments... anything at all really.

I have the '63 and '65 supplement shop manuals for my truck, but they don't cover 1971 , so I thought I'd ask you guys and gals in here.

Thanks a bunch.

fine69,

thanks for the reply.

I've had the truck for several years and I notice the grease there with the joints... so, thought I'd ask, just in case.

Over the years I have pulled mine out just to keep it grease but unfortunately when steering columns start to wear down all you can do is buy a new one. I had to three years ago from this chevy truck steering column dealer click here.
