Wide tailgate panel question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Is the wide rear panel off a blazer the same as one off of a truck. There is an 85 blazer being parted out and it has a nice panel that I would like to buy. Wanting one for my 85 C10.

The Blazer does not have a recess for the tailgate handle. To use the Blazer band, you would need the backing from a truck gate and a tailgate handle relocator.

That is sad. I was looking right at a picture of it and it never crossed my mind. Epic fail on my part. Thanks anyway. Should have that a little more about that before I asked.
