6cyl Power Steering Pulley

I have an extra power steering pulley for a 6cyl 250 setup. Part Number 3791943 GM

This fits the early "correct style" power steering for these trucks and was removed I believe from a 68 Camaro. Its been sand blasted and painted with Satin Black epoxy.

Has some nicks and such and the back side has some pitting. I actuallly paid $70 for this before I blasted and painted it.

Will take $50 shipped CONUS

Re: 6cyl Power Steering Pulley

What do you mean "correct"? I noticed when I put my p/s on that my pulley is slightly out of alignment with the rest of the pulleys. Will this pulley correct that condition?

Re: 6cyl Power Steering Pulley

The 6 Cyl and 8 Cyl Pulleys are different. If you are using an 8cyl pulley, that could be the reason it is off. I have one of these pulley numbers on my truck and alignment is spot on. Ill post a pic of the setup that this is correct for.

Re: 6cyl Power Steering Pulley

I will have to check the p/n on my pulley. I am also running the later "square reservoir" pump. Do you know if those pumps have a different shaft length?

Re: 6cyl Power Steering Pulley

I will get in line for this if you will ship to Canada. This is also correct for 67 327 with power steering.

The later style that you have uses a different pulley. Actually with that setup I do believe that you have to utilize the Crank and Waterpump pulleys that went with it. That is more likely your issue.

Sure will. Just would charge the difference in shipping compared to the Flatrate in the CONUS

Re: 6cyl Power Steering Pulley

Payal sent. If possible, please ship right away. I miss my power steering. I bought a replacement pump, and I did not realize there were two shaft styles. Wouldn't you know, I have the press-on style and the replacment pump is the bolt-on style. If you have the nut, I could use that too.

Thanks,
Mark
