My pasture find, 72 CST
Not 100% on what my plans for it are, for now get it running and moving and drive it as is. Long term either fix it up some and sell it or turn it into a trail rig
top pic is at home after the rescue, bottom is how i found it

Re: My pasture find, 72 CST
Nice find, the body looks to be in pretty good shape. Very interesting top, looks like a cut down full top.

Re: My pasture find, 72 CST
it is a cut down top, it won't be used in the future
got it on wheels today and off the trailer (not as easy as it sounds had to replace all 24 wheel studs since every single one of them was broken) removed the top removed the seats removed the carpet lots of cleaning the good news is that the floor is in surprisingly good shape only a couple soft spots

Re: My pasture find, 72 CST
Looking good Andy. Dammit, I should have traded you transfer case skid plate for the roll bar in the teal one

Re: My pasture find, 72 CST
Thanks Big Block and Wasted,
It is pretty original and amazingly straight, as far as I can tell never been painted and all original panels are in place

What did you do with the crazy top? Someone had put some work into it at one time!

Re: My pasture find, 72 CST
72 I still have the top. My thoughts are to use the leading edge as a mounting point for a soft top that way I don't have to drill into the windshield frame.
Today I got all of the lights working and changed out a leaky rear wheel cylinder. It is just about ready to get it's inspection so that I can proceed with registration and insurance. I have also pretty much decided that it is going to get 6 inches of lift and some 37 inch tires
