Re: Junkyard extended cab?

Those are very rare aftermarket conversions, if you don't plan on rescuing the truck post or PM the location to someone interested. (not saying I'm interested, got enough projects lol)

I hope someone salvages that thing. That could be a pretty cool truck!

Re: Junkyard extended cab?

Is it just me, or does that look like a 88-98 extended cab rear window? If I remember right, the aftermarket conversions used a smaller window.

It looks like it has the door handles from that same generation, hard to tell from the picture however.

Re: Junkyard extended cab?

You guys are right the door handles and a few other things look like they came from a newer truck. Which is why it was confessing me. The dash, grille, frame, gas tanks are definitely a squarebody.

It's in pretty rough shape. Plus it looks like in a previous life the owner was a fan of pimp my ride or something. There is red carpet glue to the inside of the bed. Huge holes for sub's in the side walls of the extended cab. And all kind of other stuff done to it. But if it was restored it would be a interesting truck. But I have too many projects as it is.

Re: Junkyard extended cab?

It probably home made most conversion ones i seen used a smaller side window and wasn't a short bed.But if it was built right i would drive it.
