I've never used one on a 2 bbl, but they do work well with cast iron intakes. Still, I prefer to use grade 8 bolts in the heads (diagonal) because I usually have aluminum intakes and dont trust the threads.

This one claims to work on a 2 bbl and looks like nearly the same bolt holes. You could always drill your autozone plate out, as well.

Yeah , it looks almost identical .im guessing the closest holes are for a 2 barrel. Good point, ill make sure to go the other route on motors with an aluminum intake in place

Haha maybe I should pickup a creeper while im at the auto part store. Lmao , my 1950's wood snap on one with the swivel wheels is killing me!!

ive been doin it for years, diagnal from front side of head and backside of the other
make the back chain shorter to comp for the weight of the tranny
