F/s Houndstooth Red Bucket Seat Covers (new) 71-72
I have a buddy who has a set of houndstooth red bucket seat covers (new) that he wants to sell. They are LMC part # 38-2314 they are 359.95 in the book, he wants 200.00 shipped. I will post pics as soon as he gets them to me. The catalog says they will actually fit 67-72 but I think they will only fit 69-72 I thought 67 and 68 were different, but you can refer to the catalog.
Thanks PT

Yes I bought the ones that were on ebay for my buckets and was at some buddys of mines shop the other day and was telling them about it and a friend of mine said he had a set just like them and wanted to get rid of them and it turned out that they were just like the ones that I bought. I think the ones that I bought are a brighter red than his, from what he said his are a deeper kind of burg. red. When he brings them to me I will post a pic.
Thanks PT

Are they for 69-70? or 71-2? They are different, not as LMC states.

He said the ones that he has are 71-72 but he also said they would fit 69-70 and I disputed him because I have a pair of 69-70 and they are different. He is suppose to bring them to me by Wed. and I will post a pic of them. The # that he has is 38-2314

This is a pic out of the LMC catalog and I read this to say that the bucket seats will fit 69-72 that meaning the seats them selves will fit 69-72 trucks but the 69-70 and the 71-72 seats are different as far as the back rest is concerned, these covers are for 71-72 (pickmup) is correct and I am soory for any misunderstanding on the application. (These covers are 71-72 covers)

I just redid a set of 69-70 buckets that I got from Frank (Pickmup). From what I can tell the insert is shaped different and the foam is formed different between the 69-70 and 71-72. If you put them side by side and look at the seat back straight on, the upholstered insert tapers outward on the 69-70 from the top down, and it goes straight down on the 71-72. The bottoms do the same thing front to back. Those covers in the picture have the houndstooth insert and they are straight which makes me think 71-72. Maybe Frank or someone can post pictures of the different seats side by side so you can see the difference.
Mike
