Mustang II ride height ....
I am using a TCI mustang II type front suspension in my 55 2nd series and was needing to look at others stance with stock height spindles. I want my truck lower than original but not slammed as even the paved roads in my area in a slammed truck would wreak havoc on a really low truck. I have cut 1/2 half a coil off and with the stock height but would like to see one that is lower .

I took this pic at the Temecula Rod Run. It has a mustang 2 and sits pretty high.

Thanks Bam ! I don't believe my stance is as high as that , but it isn't slammed either.

Re: Mustang II ride height ....
fatman mustII, standard spindles, full coils, 5.5'' at the rockers
a cut coil or drop spindles would hit the road on mine i suggest you not drop it any more until you have it done and on the road

What Ogre said!
We are about the same on the front and he is a bit lower on the rear than mine. Last edited by Highsider; 04-29-2013 at 08:52 PM. |
