72 Blazer 6.2 Diesel

1972 Chevy Blazer with a 6.2 Diesel motor/700r4 tran
Anyone out there done this conversion? I would love to see some pics and the know how on or about the build.

If you look in the Engine & Drivetrain section, there is now a section dedicated to diesel conversions.

Yeah that's me. Love the conversion. I really need to do a build thread. But following that link will give you the gist of it. Getting 16 mpg all around right now. That is with number 1 diesel so it should improve when we go to number 2. also my injector timing needs to be bumped up and that should raise that number as well. It's retarded enough that I can't even make it smoke no matter how hard I get on it.

Driving it daily right now.
