Lowered 71 shocks?
Just picked up a 71 that's dropped 5.5/7. I want to replace the shocks. The front right is blown I believe so im just going to replace all the shocks while in at it. What shocks do you guys suggest to handle my drop?

Drop spindles up front? Stock shocks will be fine. Your truck will bottom out before the shocks do. My 1970 gmc came down over 6" in front without drop spindles and the shocks weren't bottomed out yet. If you really want drop shocks then CPP has many to choose from. I assume you have 3" coils and 2.5" spindles so find some 2" drop shocks and that will be more than enough.
