fuel pump replacement, fitment question
I need to replace my fuel pump on my 70 c20 small block. It has a newer. motor with center bolt heads and the numbers on the pad decode to 87 or later. Would I just buy one for a 70 c20 and it will fit? Are all SBC with machanical pumps the same pump? I went to my local parts store and they were clueless to my question.

Re: fuel pump replacement, fitment question
Check your block carefully. Some of the new SBC have a mounting boss for a mechanical pump, but are not drilled for the push rod.
