I had a set of those and no matter how I tried I couldn't get them to work - I'm 6'3". I also tried the original bench and it was the same. I finally ended up using a bench seat out of an 88-94 chevy truck. The seat and back are contoured so that you sit back in the seat farther. I feel like I'm getting an extra 2 or 3 inches.
