Nice Truck
I saw this truck today while riding my bicycle. He bought it new in 1965. It is a custom cab with a 3 speed overdrive.

Re: Nice Truck
Nice! Where did you see it? I've never seen him in town (SF). I used to live here for years, and would have remembered that truck!

Re: Nice Truck
This was right around 35th and Clement. I almost rode down the Embaradero but decided to go to the beach instead. Let me know if you are going to be in town next week. I think I am going to do some work on the truck.

On weekends, I am fighting to get as much time on the truck while trying to take care of the family (which I haven't been too successful at, since something always pulls me away from the truck). What are you planning on doing to your truck?

Re: Nice Truck
Dont worry about it. I just thought if you were in town you could just stop by and chew some fat. No working on the truck. I just have to run a fuel line and hook up the shift bar to the tranny. After that button up a few wires and then fire it up and run it for a bit. Maybe I can drive it soon.
Your a busy guy right now. Maybe I will catch you at a meet sometime. Just have to set one up.

Re: Nice Truck
After all that work, I would be dying to go for a drive!!! I feel for you. I can't wait to drive mine, and I have had mine for less than a year and only drove it once, with a motor that was about to konk out. Top speed on the freeway was 60, and I didn't dare go faster than that, since my boys were riding with me and there are no seat belts in it. I will drive this thing as much as I can before I sell it. I told my wife that I am going to have to drive it to a lot of places, just to get the exposure for people to see it is for sale. I said, "I don't care how hot it is, I am driving it!" By the time I get done, it should be well into the upper 90's to 100's, with no fan or air, except the open vents and vent windows.
