Camaro exhaust manifolds

Will the 2010-11 Camaro SS exhaust manifolds fit a 06 5.3 and clear the frame on 73-87? I thought I read somewhere they would. I currently have the 98+ mainifolds, but they have the air/egr port and I need it to be gone when I attempt smog. If they see it just blocked off I won't pass.

Re: Camaro exhaust manifolds

If the 98's fit and you like them, just plug the EGR in and everything but leave it turned off the in computer; if its the visual inspection that concerns you the most. I doubt they would somehow try to test its actual function.

From what I remember out in Temecula, everyone just had a guy they paid a few extra $$$ on the side to overlook things, corona ain't that far away

Lol, hope it is that easy! Last time I paid more than a few bucks for my old tired 305. Hope that guy is still around in Aug.

I actually have a set I picked up for cheap a while back, just was not sure. Did not want to go through the hassle removing everything if it would not work.

Re: Camaro exhaust manifolds

Gang, the 2010+ Camaro manifolds fit perfect. I am in the middle of installing a 5.3 in my 77 2wd K5. I will upload some pics tonight after I get home from work.

Glad to hear it! I thought they would, but had to ask. Pics would be great for everyone else that asks in the future.

Re: Camaro exhaust manifolds

I used street & performance 73-87 headers. No cutting or grinding on frame. They fit perfect.
